Dr Alistair Brown
Chairman
Alistair was appointed as Chief Executive of Sagentia in 2008. Alistair joined Sagentia in 2000 and previously had responsibility for global Sales and Marketing, as well as being Geschäftsführer of Sagentia GmbH with direct responsibility for Sagentia’s business in the German speaking countries. He has particular experience in the exploitation of technology assets and technology transfer. Much of his commercial and technical experience has been gained working with mainland European organisations at director level. He has a first class degree in Physics and Chemistry and a PhD which involved research in high speed, high resolution image acquisition systems.
Ir John Mok
Director
John is Co-founder and Chairman of Automatic Manufacturing Limited (AML) and the founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Medical & Healthcare Device Manufacturers Association. John is also an advisor to the Hong Kong Trade & Development Council, Hong Kong Government Industry Department, Hong Kong PolytechnicUniversity and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He led the AML group to win the 2004 Quality Grand for Hong Kong Industries and was awarded the Director of The Year Award 2005 by the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.
Peter Mok
Director
Co-founder and Vice Chairman of Automatic Manufacturing Limited (AML). Peter has expertise in mechanical technology, global marketing, strategic alliance and joint venture creation.
Dr KM Chow
Managing Director
KM has over 20 years of solid experience in design & manufacturing of consumer electronic products in Asia. He was one of the masterminds in setting up Sagentia SGAI. KM started working for AML in 2003 and joining Sagentia SGAI in July 2006 and was appointed Managing Director in 2008. He graduated with an honours degree in Electronic Computer Systems at the University of Salford, he went on to receive an MSc in Telecommunication Measurement and in 1992 KM obtained a PhD from California in Engineering Management.
Guy McCarthy
Finance Director
Guy read Mathematics at Bath University, graduating in 1984, whereupon he joined Price Waterhouse. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987, he remained as a manager working on various audit clients until 1990 when he joined Sagentia Limited. He has undertaken a number of finance and company secretarial roles within the Existing Sagentia Group over the years, most recently as Group Director of Finance. Mr. McCarthy obtained an MBA through the Open University in 2002.
Dr Tim Moore
Director
Tim has an active interest in breakthrough service and product development from initial concept development through to production. Tim joined Sagentia in February 2001 to work in new product development where he led many successful developments for Hornby plc. Prior to this, he was technical director of Phenomenon Group plc and OnMedica Group plc – the medical web portal for health professionals. He graduated with a first class honours degree in Physics with Electronics at the University of Birmingham, and in 1998 working with Hitachi Europe, he obtained a PhD from Cambridge in Microelectronic Engineering.
